I understand the challenges that are presented in caring for these patients and their families. Your software addresses these challenges and provides mechanisms for caring for these patients in a clinically appropriate and efficient manner.
ScreenITdx includes screening questions that allow the clinician to rapidly arrive at the correct diagnosis. These questions could also be administered by an allied health professional or physician extender to make the process more efficient for the physician. Once a diagnosis is made, the program includes chart documentation, patient treatment plans, ICD-9 codes and physician treatment plans. The ability to quickly print and distribute this information relieves the burden of appropriate documentation from the busy provider and gives the patient and family immediate feedback on the diagnosis.
I would recommend your software to anyone who assesses and treats patients with pain. The availability of the program for handheld computer systems makes it portable and increases its ease of use in diverse clinical settings. In this area of heightened regulatory scrutiny, the documentation available provides the "paper trail" necessary for billing and coordination of care with other practitioners."
