About the Developer and Founder, Roslyn E. Feierstein, Ph.D.
Roslyn E. Feierstein, Ph.D. is a clinical psychologist in private practice in Ashland, Kentucky and is a staff psychologist for the Veteran's Administration Hospital in Huntington, WV. Her work focuses on trauma, pain, health, and wellness in children, adolescents, and adults. She has consulted to the American Red Cross, in disaster and debriefing mental health services, Hope's Place, a rape and sexual assault evaluation center, the Kings Daughters Medical Center Pain Clinic, while enjoying a busy private practice. Her love of research and writing led her to invent a "multi-dimensional matrix algorithm" which is currently being patented. Her software company, Windy Sails Software, Inc. was founded in 2003.
Dr. Feierstein has written and presented extensively in the fields of Developmental Psychology, chronic pain, the applications of scientific algorithms and Psychotherapy. Her interests and research in chronic pain and pediatrics facilitating healthy relationships and healing has spanned over 30 years as an educator, consultant, and psychotherapist.
Dr. Feierstein presently is in private practice with her husband Steven J. Feierstein, M.Ed., L.M.F.T. in Kentucky. Mr. Feierstein has been practicing for over 34 years.
